God has a magnificent plan for the financial security of every person. After all, does He not provide for 6 billion people everyday? One of God's Names is JVH Jireh which means "God will provide." After He provides we must make sure we are good "stewards or accountants" of everything He gives us.

1. Quit worrying; start trusting.

Matthew 6. 30.  Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

 31.  Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

 32.  (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

 33.  But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

 34.  Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

2. Put God first in every aspect of your life.

Matthew 6. 33.  But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

First give yourself to God  and to God's man- 2 Corinthians. 5.  .. they… first gave their own selves to the Lord, and unto us by the will of God. 3. Give and it shall be given unto you. 9.  For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.

 2. Corinthians 5. 10.  And herein I give my advice: for this is expedient for you, who have begun before, not only to do, but also to be forward (give more than) a year ago.

Luke 6.  38.  Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

4. Give tithes and offerings to the LORD. If God gives you a dollar the FIRST dime is His. God can make 90% go farther than you can make 100%. Sadly to say, this generation has not learned to give, and they are paying for it with heavy debt.

PROVE GOD! Give Him the ten percent first! Prove Malachi 3.

2 Corinthians 9. 6.  But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.  7.  Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.  8.  And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:  9.  (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever.  10.  Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)

5. After you tithe, save 10%. Pay yourself first! Save for emergencies, and college.

6.  Pay cash!

Buy (not rent) the lowest priced fixer-upper you can find making sure you

will be able to afford the repairs. Do all the repairs yourself paying as you go. Even if it is a mobile home, or a motor home it will feel like home when you owe nothing on it.

Pay cash for any car with a lot of miles left on it. Until you get the cash, ride a bike, walk, take the bus, share a ride. When you get that car drive it until it stops. Meanwhile, save money every month for another klunker. Join the Klunker Klub with Brother Don. Some people drive a car all their life and never have a wreck; some drive a wreck all their life and never have a car. (That's me) It FEELS good to NOT owe on a car! They cannot repossess it.

Pay cash for all your furniture. People all over any town are selling their good furniture!

Try shopping at Garage Sales and Thrift shops. You can pay pennies on a dollar for name brand clothes.

Give your children gifts once a year, not every time you go to the store. And even then, pay cash for Christmas! Pay CASH for Christmas, wedding rings, washer and dryers, TV's. EVERYTHING.

God said not to owe anyone anything.  Romans 13.

   8.  Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

9. If needed get TWO jobs! Six days shalt thou labor and do ALL thy work.  Trust God for a job where you do not work Sundays nor work where they sell alcohol.

I believe personally, that every Christian should have his own business. Why pick up $100 bills for someone who will pay you $20? Galatians 6. 4.  But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.

Please try God's way financially. He promised HIS way would make you prosper financially.
