I sure hope you're out there, because we have an exact match! I have Louisa Etta Neal, born 5 March, 1871 in Tn., died 1936 in Tn. She is buried in McMinnville, Tn. She married Leander Page/Paige on 8 August, 1892 in DeKalb Co., Tn. Leander was born 3 July, 1872 in Tn. and died 10 Frb 1931 in Clinton, Ok. They had six children that I know of. One son was Joseph David Barney Paige (went by D. B. Paige), born 28, May, 1904 in Smithville, Tn. and died 21 June, 1975 in Cherokee, Ok. He was married to Cora Sarah Pettay, born 22 February, 1909 in Carmen, Ok. I have several more generations of Pettay's and Paige's! Please send email to garyone@pldi.net

Polly Holt was the daughter of John Holt (Jr.)of Surry County, NC and Henry County, VA, and of Mary/Polly Jones who married in Henry County, VA on 10 June 1739 perhaps the Marriage Bond date). Her parents are unknown and there were several Jones families in Henry County at that time who left Wills and estate records.

John Holt, Jr. is believed to be the son of John Holt, Sr. and wife, Roseanne, of Surry County, NC. John Holt, Sr. is believed to be the son of Francis Holt (c1720-1806+) of Surry County, NC also of early Henry County, VA. See Holt Family Gen forum #3506.

In the name of God, I, Barnabas Page, do make and publish this as my last will and Testament, hereby revoking and making void all other wills by me at anytime made.

First I direct that my funeral expenses and all my debts be paid as soon after my death as possible out of any money that I may be possessed of or may come into the hands of my executor.

I wish to bequeath to my daughters Mahaly and Martha and Laurany and Mary a certain tract of land lying or _____ of a tract of land belonging to E. W. Taylor lying on the other side of the ridge from my house. Also I wish to be sold a parcel of land of about ten or fifteen acres lying above Daniel Hale's where he now lives.
